Payments & fees
Calculate the true cost of getting paid: fees, net received, effective fee %, and break-even by method and platform. If net drops, change the method (don’t “work more”).
Recommended KPI: effective fee % + net received. Recheck every 7–14 days.

Ver másPricing
Price with a floor, not with hope. This section turns a monthly target into a rate you can defend (hourly or project) using billable hours, overhead, taxes, and a margin—so your plan still works on busy weeks, slow weeks, and client churn.
Recommended KPI: utilization (billable / total hours) + effective hourly (net / total hours). Recheck every 7–14 days.

Ver másInvoicing & late fees
Protect margin with clarity. Most payment delays come from weak terms and undefined consequences, not from “bad clients”. This section helps you set invoice terms, pick due dates, and model late fees so your cashflow doesn’t depend on chasing.
Recommended KPI: days-to-cash (money available) + late rate (% paid after due date). Recheck every 7–14 days.

Ver másCashflow timing
Forecast when money is actually usable—not just “invoiced”. Processing, settlement, and payout timing can add days (or weeks) to real liquidity. This section estimates cash availability dates and days-to-cash based on payment terms and delays, so you can plan payroll, taxes, and spending without surprises.
Recommended KPI: days-to-cash (cash availability) + DSO trend (direction over time). Review every 7–14 days.
Updated: February 2 (Europe/Madrid). Practical use only. No income promises. “Net 30” doesn’t mean you get cash in 30 days. This calculator turns your invoice terms into a real cash-available…

Use these tools as a workflow: one decision → one KPI → one change. Keep it simple and measurable.
- Pick one decision: fees, net, pricing, or cash timing.

- Recheck on cadence: weekly / biweekly, or right after any meaningful change.
How to use this hub as a workflow (fast paths)
Don’t run calculators in isolation. Chain them: pricing → net → cash timing. Pick one path and execute it in ~10 minutes.
Path 1 — Set a floor rate (US freelancer)
- Set your baseline with Freelance rate calculator (US).
- Protect net using Fee / commission calculator.
- Forecast liquidity with Days-to-cash calculator.
KPI: effective hourly + days-to-cash. If net slips, adjust rate or payment method (not workload).
Path 2 — Reduce payment leakage (fees)
- Estimate net with PayPal fees calculator.
- Compare platforms with Fee / commission calculator.
- Choose rails with ACH vs card break-even.
KPI: effective fee % + net received (trend).
Path 3 — Get paid on time (terms)
- Model terms with Invoice terms & late fee.
- Translate “paid” into “usable cash” via Days-to-cash.
- If days-to-cash is too long, move to deposits/milestones (then recheck).
KPI: late rate + days-to-cash trend.
FAQ
Are these tools free? What’s the catch?
Yes—free to use. The goal is to reduce guesswork in recurring decisions (fees, net, pricing, cash timing). Some pages may include contextual links to related guides, but there are no paywalls. This is educational content, not legal, tax, or financial advice.
Are the calculations exact?
Treat them as operational estimates. Fees and terms vary by country, plan, transaction type, FX conversion, and account settings. Use the output to decide, then validate using your real KPI (effective fee % and net received on actual payouts).
Which tool should I start with?
Start with Payments & fees if you get paid online (it impacts net immediately). Then set your Pricing if you sell services. Use Cashflow timing once you invoice regularly to avoid “paper revenue”.
How often should I revisit the numbers?
Recheck after any meaningful change (new platform, price update, new terms) and on a simple cadence (weekly/biweekly works for most). Track one KPI, change one lever, and keep what improves the KPI.
Can I request a new tool?
Yes. If you repeat a decision (fees, pricing, terms, cash timing) and it impacts money weekly, it’s a strong candidate for a calculator or template. New tools are added only after they’re published and tested.
